Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) - ASEAN Sustainability Conference 2024
South Tangerang, October 10 2024

Introduction
In recent years, sustainability has grown to be a significant global trend, impacting various sectors, including international trade. This presents both challenges and opportunities for industry players, especially in Indonesia. The rising trend of sustainability practices in trade has influenced global standards and expectations around environmental and social responsibility. It is urgent for Indonesia to respond accordingly and mainstream sustainability practices in business models of its industry players. This is crucial to enhance Indonesia’s position in global supply chains, promoting fair trade, and leading partnerships for environmental and economic goals.

The Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) - ASEAN Sustainability Conference 2024 marks the 39th edition of the annual international trade exhibition organized by the Directorate General of National Export Development (Ditjen PEN) under the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. The B2B and B2C-focused event is scheduled to take place from 9 to 12 October 2024, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) in BSD City, Greater Jakarta. Over the years, TEI has successfully supported the growth of Indonesian exports by facilitating direct interactions between Indonesian export product providers and global buyers and investors. In 2023, TEI attracted more than 33,000 buyers and visitors from 114 countries, with transactions reaching US$ 25.3 billion. The 2024 event aims to continue this momentum with the theme "Build Strong Connections with The Best of Indonesia."
