The 41st Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2026 was successfully held from October 14–18, 2026,
at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang, Banten. The exhibition was officially opened by
Dr. Budi Santoso, M.Si., Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, alongside
Dr. (H.C.) H. Zulkifli Hasan, S.E., M.M., Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, and Bahlil Lahadalia,
Coordinating Minister for Downstreaming and Energy Transition and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.
TEI 2026 brought together Indonesian businesses and international buyers to expand trade opportunities and
strengthen global business connections.
Over five days, TEI 2026 recorded USD 22.94 billion in potential transactions, exceeding its initial target of
USD 17.5 billion by 31.1%. India recorded the highest potential transaction value, followed by the Netherlands,
Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, and Japan. The product categories with the highest potential transaction
values included food and beverages, jewelry, wood products, agricultural products, and paper. A total of 426
memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were also signed to strengthen business partnerships and create new international
trade opportunities.
The strong enthusiasm for TEI 2026 was reflected in the participation of 1,873 exhibitors, surpassing
the initial target of 1,500 companies, and 9,600 registered buyers from 151 countries. The five countries
with the highest numbers of buyers were India, Malaysia, China, Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan. In addition,
total visitor attendance reached 45,287, marking a 31.08% increase compared to the previous year. These
achievements highlight the strong interest of businesses and international buyers in Indonesian products.
The success of TEI 2026 would not have been possible without the support and collaboration of our partners,
exhibitors, and all parties who contributed to this year's event. We extend our sincere appreciation
and gratitude for the trust, support, and collaboration that helped create business opportunities and
strengthen international trade connections. Building on this year's achievements, TEI looks forward
to returning with broader collaborations, new opportunities, and even greater accomplishments in its next edition.
